STAIN PROTECTION
What is stain protection and what does it do?
,Stain protection is an effective invisible shield sprayed onto your carpet or upholstery which allows a time delay for the majority of spillages. Spills can often be blotted up before they soak into the fibres or fabric. Stain protection also provides a barrier between the protected area and soiling. If dirt is brought into your home or business on the bottom of shoes etc it does not become knitted into the fibres therefore, when you vacuum, the soiling can be removed easily. Carpet and soft furnishing fibres have pores in them. The protector works by filling these pores coating the fibre and reducing the amount of soil and stains that can be absorbed into each strand. The protection has no effect on the texture, appearance or smell of the fabric.

ALLERGY PROTECTION
As part of our carpet and upholstery cleaning services we offer a solution to the issue of dust mites in your home or business. Following a deep clean an allergy protection product can be applied as a trusted effective method for the removal and protection against further growth of dust mites and fungal moulds. The product works by eliminating the food chain that dust mites thrive and procreate on. Without the feeding source dust mites, mould and bacteria cannot develop. Allergy Shield remains effective continuously. However, all products of this type are removed by the extraction cleaning process. They should be re-applied after each clean for continuous protection.

Step by step guide to getting rid of fleas from your home
- Quarantine any infested pets and make sure they are treated to control the adult fleas. If not treated they will continue to lay eggs.
- Collect all soft furnishings in the home and wash them in soapy water. Include items such as throws, bedding and clothes (if required). This should remove eggs, larvae, pupae (feceas that the larvae feed from) and adults.
- Vacuum all areas. This must be done thoroughly and with great care. Always check cracks in wooden flooring, behind doors, mattresses and any other area that collects dust. Make sure to empty the vacuum or throw away the bag immediatley.
- Book a professional carpet clean with a flea treatment. This will remove any stage of flea and then treat any remaining eggs to make sure they do not hatch. Please be aware that in some cases two treatments may be required.
- Make sure the area that your pet usually rests in is cleaned well.
- Ensure that treatments to the host are effective.
- For future prevention - check pets regularly, the earlier you deal with the fleas the better for your home. Vacuum regularly. Wash pet beds, blankets, etc...often.
